The Global Foundation for Children with Hearing Loss

I’ve been meaning to post about The Global Foundation for Children with Hearing Loss for a while. I’ve been working with the E.D. and founder, Paige Stringer, for the last few months on various things, including writing this article that just got published in the Queen Anne Life Magazine, developing materials for a recent fundraiser, doing some organizing and preparing project materials, and doing some communications and outreach work.

Paige is singlehandedly running this organization herself and I am continually impressed with the connections she makes in the community and the support she gets from her board and the team of professionals who volunteer with her in Vietnam.

I’ve enjoyed getting to know Paige and we often compare notes on how we are doing with our cochlear implants– she got hers right around the same time as I.

Enjoy the article!
