Do you have to be a registered charity for JustGiving?
Charities and CASCs must be registered with the Charity Commission or exempt from registration for JustGiving to reclaim Gift Aid on their behalf. JustGiving also features certain not-for-profit and other organisations, which are not eligible for Gift Aid reclaim.
Can charities use JustGiving?
If you’ve got a charitable registration number or a Gift Aid number, you can join JustGiving. So that includes charities, schools, churches, trusts, Community Amateur Sports Clubs (CASCs) and Girlguiding units (which includes Rainbows, Brownies and Guides).

How to submit payment details. To submit payment details, log into your JustGiving account and visit your Crowdfunding page. Click on “Back to Dashboard” tab on the left side of your page (or “Back” if you’re on a mobile device), then click on “Payment Account” on the left column.
Does JustGiving charge a monthly fee?
We offer 3 different types of subscription plans for charities to join JustGiving. Charities who are new to JustGiving are able to join on our Start plan with no monthly subscription fee.
How do I add a payment method on Go Fund Me?
Changing your bank information
- Select the fundraiser you would like to edit.
- Click the “Withdraw” button.
- Click the edit or pencil icon next to “Bank information”
- Select a bank to log into, or select to “Manually add your banking information”
- Enter your new bank account information and save the changes.
Can I change my name on just giving?
You can update the name and postal address on your account whenever you like. Just log into your account and click on ‘Your Details’, or on ‘Your Account’ in the drop down menu in the top right. Click on ‘Edit’ next to whichever section you want to edit and make the changes you need.
Why is my Just Giving page frozen?
If the fundraiser hasn’t given us those details within this time frame, we freeze the page. This means that donations can’t be made while we sort this out with them. You’ll be able to donate again once this is all straightened out with the fundraiser and we have those important bank details!
